Touchstone Golf Foundation - Volunteers Needed for
The Golf Club at StoneBridge
Touchstone Golf Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving our communities through service, education and charitable efforts by raising funds through golf related activities, and by promoting the enjoyment of and the values learned through the game of golf.
Touchstone Golf Foundation is always looking for volunteers, so please read below for a description of volunteer responsibilities:
Touchstone Golf Foundation Volunteer Description*
- Greeting and assisting visitors/players to the golf course to ensure a fun and safe experience.
- Providing advice to further the golfer’s understanding and appreciation of the game and to improve the pace of play.
- Raising funds for charitable, scientific, or educational purposes.
- Providing support to organizations that conduct golf programs and events for deserving youth; especially those organizations that have programs targeting youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, minority youth, and individuals with disabilities.
- Assisting Tournament Director and non-profit charitable/service organizations with the management of golf tournaments and other related functions (e.g. hole-in-one contest).
- Assisting with other charitable tasks as determined from time to time.
- Other tasks consistent with the mission and vision of the foundation.
*Volunteers are needed at any golf course that is managed by Touchstone Golf, LLC.
Requirements:
- One (1) 6 1/2 hour shift per week.
- 60 hours community service a year (not less than 10 hours in a calendar quarter).
- Youth Programs, Church, Charity Tournaments, Hole-in-one, etc…
- Wear official hat and nametag while on duty.
- Valid driver license.
Program benefits provided at your host golf course:
- Free green fees and half cart Mon.-Fri. anytime and Weekends/Holidays after 1pm.
- Tee time reservations may be permitted by the General Manager at off-peak times. However times may be moved without notice based on demand for paying guests.
- 50% off meals during shift and non-alcoholic beverages (some restrictions may apply).
- One free bucket of range balls daily.
- 10% discount on merchandise.
